Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' mental health needs and identify both strengths and challenges impacting their well-being.

• Provide tailored individual, family, and group therapy sessions, adapting interventions based on clients' unique cultural and contextual backgrounds.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy to promote effective treatment outcomes.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that outline clear goals, interventions, and methods for monitoring progress.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including educators, school psychologists, and healthcare providers, to develop comprehensive strategies for supporting students.

• Offer crisis intervention services, conducting risk assessments and creating safety plans tailored to students' immediate needs.

• Advocate for students’ rights, ensuring they and their families are connected with relevant community resources and case management support.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives to enhance awareness of mental health issues and resources available to families and students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with students from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. Your expertise will guide students through mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges, aiming to provide them with tools for better coping and resilience. You will also work with families to create a supportive environment that promotes healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Access Mind Counseling LLC offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
