Make an impact working with elementary students in an emotional support setting. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity allows you to devote your expertise as a School Social Worker to support students in grades K-4 through the end of the 2026-2027 school year.
You’ll collaborate with faculty and families to create a caring, supportive environment that promotes social-emotional growth and academic success. If you have a passion for making a difference and enjoy working as part of a dynamic school team, this is your chance to contribute meaningfully.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
Current state licensure for School Social Work
Previous experience working with elementary-age students preferred
Familiarity with emotional support programs in a school setting
Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
Collaborative approach with teachers and school administration
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individual and group counseling for students requiring emotional support
Develop, implement, and monitor interventions to address social-emotional needs
Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights for student success
Maintain thorough documentation and comply with regulatory requirements
Serve as a resource for parents and teachers regarding student needs and available supports
Help foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive school climate
