Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including doctors and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care for clients and maintain streamlined communication regarding client progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on patients in the hospice setting, many of whom are experiencing significant emotional and psychological distress due to terminal illness. You will be instrumental in validating feelings of fear, grief, and anxiety, helping clients navigate their emotional landscape through tailored therapeutic interventions that honor their experiences and dignity.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required for this role.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in delivering individual therapy and developing treatment plans.

• Strong background in diagnosis and treatment planning, with the ability to adapt approaches based on diverse client needs.

• Awareness and sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds, ensuring an inclusive approach in client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings is highly valued, as well as familiarity with providing support to clients with complex psychological needs associated with terminal illness. Understanding of telehealth practices will also be advantageous.
