Work Environment\n

As part of our innovative approach to care, the Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker will primarily work remotely, allowing for a flexible schedule that maximizes work-life balance. Despite the remote setting, you will be integrated into a multidisciplinary team that collaborates closely to ensure that patients receive seamless and coordinated care across various platforms, including both in-person and virtual visits.

Key Responsibilities\n

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for:

• Providing effective clinical services to children and families in the community, employing evidence-based treatment models and best practices to ensure a positive impact on patient outcomes.

• Collaborating with schools, social service agencies, and various healthcare providers to strengthen the continuum of care for your clients, enhancing their access to needed resources and support.
\n
• Utilizing tools such as the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) assessment, for which you will obtain certification within two months of hire, to tailor interventions to meet individual client needs.

• Monitoring clients for Legal Risk Assessment (LRA) compliance and working alongside court-related personnel to facilitate any necessary extensions, ensuring that all interventions remain uninterrupted for our patients.

• Empowering clients by providing guidance on available resources and education to enhance their autonomy and address their essential needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on underserved populations, including children and families facing multifaceted challenges, such as chronic health conditions, mental health disorders, and socio-economic hardships. You will apply your knowledge and sensitivity in diverse cultural contexts, ensuring that all clients are treated with the utmost respect and understanding, recognizing their unique experiences and backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field, with a valid Washington State LICSW licensure required.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in clinical social work, demonstrating competence in behavioral health assessment and intervention strategies.

• Specialized knowledge and/or training in integrating behavioral health with primary care practices, with the understanding that additional training will be provided if necessary.

• A solid understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance, along with the associated policies and practices.
\n
• Experience fostering relationships with individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, ensuring equitable treatment and access to care.
