Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to determine clients' mental health statuses and identify therapy goals.

• Design individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities tailored to the needs of each client.

• Schedule and facilitate ongoing therapy sessions, providing consistent support and equipping clients with coping strategies for overcoming obstacles.

• Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment strategies based on their response to therapy.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a varied clientele, including individuals grappling with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues, as well as exacerbating conditions related to substance abuse and eating disorders. By applying culturally competent therapeutic practices, you’ll foster an environment that respects and acknowledges the diverse backgrounds of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, showcasing robust knowledge of mental health treatment ethics and practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
