Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial interviews and follow-up consultations, documenting every aspect of the treatment process.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for individual clients as well as for couples, families, and group therapy settings.
\n
• Facilitate effective individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based techniques to foster a supportive environment where clients can explore their mental and emotional challenges.

• Monitor and assess client progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to meet evolving needs.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to deliver comprehensive care.

• Follow up with hospitalization professionals about client care and management to ensure continuity in treatment.
\n
• Proactively identify and address behaviors that may hinder client recovery, employing skills to motivate change and promote resilience.

• Provide guidance to family members and primary caregivers, empowering them to manage the challenges of mental health with effective strategies and resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW within the state of Massachusetts.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with peers.
