Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist for a maternity leave assignment starting in early September and continuing through December, with the possibility of extension for the entire academic year. You’ll play a vital role on the school therapy team, collaborating closely with a COTA to make a genuine impact. Key Qualifications:

• Active CA licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Adaptable and proactive, able to manage a flexible caseload
• Commitment to upholding student privacy and ethical standards

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct individual and group occupational therapy services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement IEPs
• Support students’ ability to access the educational curriculum through tailored interventions
• Supervise and provide guidance to the assigned COTA
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and services rendered
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and assessments as needed
