Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and support for a variety of mental health conditions.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute positive behavior support strategies and crisis intervention plans.

• Completing all required documentation accurately and promptly, adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.

• Participating actively in ongoing licensure and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with industry and organization standards.

• Serving as a liaison to relevant service systems, community partners, and state agencies to enhance patient connections and resources.

• Building and maintaining communication channels with external organizations to foster partnerships and identify funding opportunities.

• Engaging in professional development activities, such as attending workshops, presenting at conferences, and participating in task forces related to mental health.

• Performing additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director that complement the organization’s goals and service quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including those struggling with emotional distress, substance use recovery, and developmental disabilities. Our patient-centered approach necessitates a high level of empathy, adaptability, and sensitivity to the unique backgrounds and circumstances of each individual. You will play a crucial role in empowering clients to achieve their wellness objectives and regain control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited institution.

• Current independent LMHC license issued by the state of Florida.
\n
• Strong ability to maintain accurate clinical records and produce comprehensive reports.

• Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration within interdisciplinary teams and with clients.

• Sound judgment and the capacity to make independent decisions based on clinical knowledge and best practices.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experience is highly desirable:

Compensation and Benefits\n
