Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that address clients' unique challenges and therapeutic goals.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing a variety of methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic client care, sharing insights and strategies that contribute to positive outcomes.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations, reflecting ongoing assessments and progress toward treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on individuals facing various emotional and psychological issues, including, but not limited to, stress management, anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma recovery. Clients may come from diverse backgrounds, requiring a counselor with an ability to connect and adapt to a wide range of needs and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must hold active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• At least two years of counseling experience is mandatory, ideally within a clinical setting.

• An extensive understanding of legal requirements and ethical standards governing counseling practice is essential.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse clientele.
