Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations, leading to the development of individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Deliver high-quality individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices and culturally responsive methodologies, ensuring an inclusive approach that respects the diverse backgrounds of our clients.

• Maintain thorough clinical documentation that adheres to ethical, legal, and organizational standards, ensuring all client interactions and progress are accurately recorded.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a clinical social worker with The Still Point, you will serve clients predominantly in a hospice setting, working with individuals facing terminal health challenges, as well as their families. Your role will involve supporting clients through their emotional hardships, whether it’s coping with grief and loss or navigating complex familial dynamics. You will apply your expertise to help clients understand not only the psychological impacts of their situations but also the larger systemic issues that can affect their mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active and in good standing Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in California.
\n
• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 1-2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in a behavioral health or hospice setting.

• Demonstrated skills in diagnostic formulation, trauma-informed care, and competence in providing culturally responsive therapy.

• Experience working with marginalized populations, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, immigrant/refugee communities, and low-income individuals.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and telehealth platforms such as SimplePractice and Zoom.

• Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
