The Revenue Operations AI Task Author Role OpenTrain is seeking a Revenue Operations AI Task Author to create and evaluate expert tasks based on realistic Revenue Operations and Sales Operations scenarios. Tasks may involve CRM records, orders, email, chat, operational dashboards, and the reconciliation of information across business systems. You will apply practical experience with bookings, account data, fulfillment pipelines, and recognized revenue to design challenges that are both realistic and objectively scorable. You will also validate your own work and refine tasks based on testing. Remote contract position Part-time contractor engagement 20+ hours per week Worldwide opportunity English-language work $20-$50 per hour What You'll Do You will design structured evaluation tasks that reflect the decisions and information-reconciliation work performed by revenue and sales operations professionals. Each task should have a clear objective, realistic business context, and standards that make correctness verifiable. Author prompts involving bookings reconciliation, account discrepancies, fulfillment pipelines, and recognized revenue. Write scoring rubrics that define precise, verifiable standards for correct answers. Configure task environments that reflect the business systems used in enterprise work. Solve each task yourself to validate its soundness and confirm that the rubric is accurate. Test tasks against AI models and adjust complexity, ambiguity, or required steps until the challenge is appropriately calibrated. Review and correct AI-drafted prompts and rubrics when needed. Required Experience and Skills This role requires hands-on experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a closely related enterprise function. Although the opportunity is listed at an entry level, applicants must be able to apply practical revenue expertise to complex workflow and evaluation tasks. Hands-on revenue operations or sales operations experience in an industrial or enterprise environment. Strong familiarity with Salesforce or a comparable CRM, including querying and interpreting account and bookings data. Practical understanding of bookings, fulfillment status, and revenue recognition concepts. Ability to convert professional judgment into objective, checkable correctness criteria. An iterative working style focused on testing, refining, and retesting task designs. Comfort working with business communication tools, email, chat, and operational dashboards. Clear communication across complex enterprise workflows. Helpful Background Experience training or evaluating AI tools in a sales or revenue context is helpful. Experience working with complex enterprise B2B deal structures is also valuable for creating realistic tasks and identifying subtle discrepancies.
