Make a meaningful impact this school year by supporting elementary students as a resource Special Education Teacher in a vibrant school environment near Naperville, IL. This full-time contract opportunity is available immediately and runs through December 21st. You'll serve as a dedicated resource teacher for students in grades 3-5—supporting approximately 10 learners—at a welcoming elementary campus.

Your role will include a mix of pull-out and push-in instruction, ensuring tailored academic interventions in both classroom and small group settings. This onsite position allows you to collaborate directly with fellow educators and school leaders, helping students thrive both academically and personally.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 Endorsement
• Prior experience teaching or working with elementary students in special education preferred
• Strong ability to adapt instructional methods to meet individual student needs
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide resource support for grades 3-5 in both pull-out and push-in models
• Develop and implement individualized instructional plans for a caseload of about 10 students
• Maintain compliance with district and state documentation and reporting requirements
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed to help each learner achieve IEP goals
