AP Specialist

Responsibilities:
The AP Specialist is responsible for managing a full-cycle AP process in a digital environment, starting with invoice intake, 3-way-match of

PO/receiver/invoice,

coding, data entry, approvals, and payments. A main task is to monitor the AP inbox and respond to vendor requests in a timely and professional way. The ideal candidate is proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and has experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software. We are looking for an individual who is organized, task oriented and ready to jump in and be busy. An associate degree or higher is preferred; however, the most important qualification is relevant experience, with 3-5 years in a similar role preferred.
Job Requirements:
Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information
Ensure timely and accurate vendor Aging reports.
Maintain vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor and enforce internal controls around disbursements.
Completion and Submission of Monthly Sales Tax Returns
Completion and Submission of B&O Tax Returns as needed
Financial Operations & Reporting:
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Reconcile subledgers to the general ledger.
Prepare reports on cash flow, aging, and payables.
Prepare weekly financial reports for the Controller.
Full-Time position requiring 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. On-site work located in Robinson Township, PA at our National Operations, Support & Distribution Center.
