As a fully remote position integrated within a Hospice Center, this role allows for high flexibility in work hours while primarily focusing on patients’ mental health needs. Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Senior LCSW, you will assume a variety of essential functions which include, but are not limited to:

• Performing thorough clinical assessments to determine the psychological needs of patients and developing personalized treatment plans grounded in established best practices.

• Implementing and overseeing a variety of therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other innovative modalities to effectively address mental health concerns based on individual patient preferences.

• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive clinical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create a cohesive care plan that meets each patient's needs, including participation in regular case consultations.

• Providing education and support to both patients and their families regarding mental health issues, fostering an understanding of treatment options and available community resources.

• Staying updated on current research and developments in mental health practice, integrating new findings into your approach to patient care.

• Managing a full caseload effectively to meet treatment goals while adhering to ethical guidelines set by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on patients within our Hospice Center, who are navigating complex emotional and psychological responses to life-limiting illnesses. You will provide essential support not only to patients but also to their families during this significant life transition, ensuring they have access to appropriate mental health resources to cope during challenging times.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy services.
