Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to determine their mental health needs, including diagnostic assessments to inform individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions to support clients dealing with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and addiction, offering coping mechanisms and therapeutic strategies.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions tailored to common concerns, promoting community support and psychoeducation for clients.
\n
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that set clear, actionable goals to address each client's specific needs, ensuring regular progress evaluations.

• Provide crisis intervention to clients in urgent need, including conducting risk assessments and coordinating emergency interventions as necessary.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to discuss client progress and share insights with fellow mental health professionals.

• Stay current with the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in mental health through continuous education and training.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work closely with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents and adults, who present with various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is essential.

• A valid license as a mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
