2nd Shift Laser Operator

Laser Operator The Laser Operator will be responsible for the operation and setup of Amada 6k & 9k fiber lasers to cut metal parts for various companies across the United States. The role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and utilizing quality tools to ensure the production of high-quality parts before they are dispatched to other departments. Responsibilities Operate and set up Amada 6k & 9k fiber lasers for metal cutting. Read and interpret blueprints and work orders accurately. Utilize quality tools to inspect and ensure quality of metal parts. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow. Essential Skills 2-4 years of experience in setting up and operating a CNC Laser. Ability to read blueprints and work orders effectively. Proficiency in using micrometers, press brakes, and calipers. Experience with inspection processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in plasma cutting or waterjet is a plus. Programming skills are advantageous. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Germantown, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
