ProActive Therapy Centre is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team on a full-time basis in Paterson, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, which include reviewing pertinent medical histories, performing specific assessments, and providing detailed documentation of findings and recommendations.
• Communicate evaluation results and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in goal-setting.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols, adjusting strategies as necessary based on patient responses and the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, recognizing and documenting changes in patient conditions to modify care plans proactively.
• Oversee comprehensive discharge planning, ensuring follow-up care is in place, and maintain accurate documentation that reflects the entire course of patient care, from initial evaluations to discharge.
• Exhibit effective time management skills to meet productivity expectations while maintaining accurate schedules and being punctual for meetings.
• Contribute to departmental goals, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
• Engage in continuous professional development by initiating and pursuing ongoing education, and mentor students as a clinical instructor.
• Enhance patient access to care and improve customer experiences, showing flexibility with scheduling and engagement in community-based initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients undergoing rehabilitation for various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. You will work collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, addressing their unique rehabilitation needs and fostering their recovery journeys. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
