Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Link Mind Counseling Therapy, your responsibilities will involve:

• Group Therapy: Facilitate dynamic group sessions, nurturing safe spaces for clients to connect and share their experiences, thereby fostering mutual support and learning.

• Individual Therapy: Offer tailored counseling sessions, allowing clients to dive deep into their personal challenges. You will assist them in identifying thought patterns, feelings, and behaviors while developing actionable coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to establish personalized and clearly defined treatment goals, ensuring alignment with their preferences and clinical needs.

• Progress Monitoring: Systematically evaluate client progress through various assessments and feedback mechanisms to inform ongoing treatment strategies.

• Multidisciplinary Care: Work closely with our multidisciplinary team of professionals, which includes psychiatrists, social workers, and other therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care and address complex cases with effective strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on teenagers and young adults aged 18 to 30 dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders. You will have the opportunity to positively impact their mental health journeys by providing empathetic care tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. A valid LPC license in the state of Texas is also required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building trust and rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with young adults in a mental health setting, as well as familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is highly desirable. Additionally, any familiarity with group facilitation techniques and treatment planning will be advantageous.
