Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and develop personalized care plans for clients, focusing on their unique needs and challenges.

• Provide ongoing individual counseling sessions via telehealth, facilitating meaningful conversations that promote emotional healing and resilience.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss case progress, collaborate on treatment plans, and share insights regarding client outcomes.

• Connect clients with appropriate community resources and support groups, providing guidance for the best available options tailored to their circumstances.

• Document all client interactions and treatment progress in our electronic health records (EHR) system, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops focused on perinatal mental health, equipping clients and their families with essential knowledge and tools for coping.

• Engage in community outreach to establish and maintain productive referral relationships with local healthcare providers and support organizations.

• Collaborate with interns and volunteers in designing group therapy sessions and activities that address the diverse needs of our clientele.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on adults and families experiencing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders, particularly in the perinatal phase. Counselors will provide services to a diverse client base, emphasizing culturally sensitive approaches that honor each individual's background and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
\n
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Washington.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.
\n
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
