The Grateful Growth Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is integral in providing support to individuals facing various challenges, including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to establish their mental health status and needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Grateful Growth Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals confronting mental health disorders like anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and those coping with substance use issues. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license in New York State as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• A minimum of four years of relevant counseling experience is required.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to communicate effectively during challenging client situations.
