This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, empowering you to provide much-needed mental health services without geographical constraints. While our operations are grounded in Sacramento, California, this remote arrangement allows for broader patient outreach and accessibility. You will work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of evening shifts depending on patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the individual needs and recovery goals of clients seeking support for substance use disorders.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the patient's specific circumstances.

• Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions employing motivational interviewing techniques and cognitive-behavioral therapy to empower patients in their recovery journey.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that foster community support and shared experiences among individuals in recovery.

• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated treatment solutions.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during substance-related emergencies to ensure safety and effective resolution.

• Educate patients and their families about addiction, recovery strategies, available community resources, and healthy coping mechanisms.

• Maintain diligent and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively engage in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance personal and team performance.

• Continuously update knowledge of best practices, research advancements, and developments in the field of substance use disorder treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist in the state of California is mandatory.

• Thorough understanding of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and principles of recovery-oriented care.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy within an addiction treatment context is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
