Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ psychological and emotional needs through interviews, standardized assessments, and direct observations. Tailor interventions based on individual assessments.

• Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans for various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and social/emotional difficulties, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Collaborate closely with teaching staff and other mental health professionals to create a consistent, supportive environment for students, ensuring integrated care that addresses both academic and emotional well-being.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all client interactions and progress, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of practice.

• Provide consultation and training to educators and staff on mental health awareness and best practices, promoting a culture of empathy and understanding within educational settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with students from diverse backgrounds who may face challenges including psychiatric disabilities, socio-economic barriers, and emotional distress. Your role will be pivotal in helping these young individuals navigate their problems, with the ultimate goal of enhancing their educational experience and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field, specifically qualifying for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
