Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for oncology patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Assess patient status, monitor symptoms and vitals, and administer medications per policy and procedure.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; adjust care plans as needed.
• Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, social workers, and other disciplines; communicate changes in patient status.
• Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in daily nursing practice.
• Document care, outcomes, and any changes to patient status; ensure safety and quality throughout the care episode.

Requirements

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts and travel assignments
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Experience in oncology or related medical-surgical nursing preferred
• Ability to meet credentialing and onboarding requirements for travel assignments
