Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards of care and the nursing process.

• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; provide guidance to ensure quality patient care.
• Coordinate care with other disciplines; collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments following policy; ensure accuracy, safety, and proper documentation.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and dignity while adhering to infection control and quality standards.
