Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Assess patient status, formulate and implement care plans, and administer medications while monitoring responses.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate care with other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; provide guidance and supervision within unit policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation, uphold patient safety, and apply infection control and quality standards.
• Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in routine and complex situations.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted registered nurse license (state requirements apply to the assignment)
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and provide 36 hours per week
• Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within an oncology care team
• Commitment to credentialing, onboarding processes, and compliance requirements
