Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
• Assess patient status and respond to changes in clinical condition; document findings and interventions per policy.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and ensure accurate and timely charting of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and education throughout the shift, with attention to infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license (California) or eligibility to practice in the state.
• Oncology nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to work Nights (12-hour shifts) in a hospital setting.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN) with an appropriate licensure.
• Certifications as required by state and facility; ability to obtain and maintain credentialing for the assignment.
• Eligible for travel assignment and able to work in Hanford, CA.
