Key Responsibilities\n

As a Telehealth Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Utilizing telehealth platforms to provide individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring a secure and confidential environment for clients.

• Regularly collaborating with supervisors, healthcare team members, and collateral contacts, such as family members, to communicate client progress and therapeutic strategies.

• Documenting clinical notes and treatment updates, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Coordinating necessary home visits (virtually and in-person when required) along with observations and interviews for data collection and ongoing assessment.

• Engaging in continuous education, training, and interdisciplinary meetings to stay current with best practices and enhance your clinical skills.

• Providing follow-up interviews and ongoing support to clients to ensure they receive the necessary resources and assistance throughout their therapeutic journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on a diverse clientele, encompassing adults and youth dealing with varying mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. By providing tailored therapeutic interventions, you will help clients navigate their unique challenges, promoting resilience and growth in their personal lives.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as clinical psychology or social work.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly in a clinical environment.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a healthcare team to deliver comprehensive client care.

• A solid understanding of the legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse treatment, or trauma-informed care will be considered advantageous. Experience in telehealth modalities and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems can enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and caseload availability. Additional benefits include:
