Work Environment\n

This position allows for remote work, offering flexibility while nurturing your professional skills in a virtual outpatient setting. Our team maintains a strong culture of collaboration, ensuring that you never feel isolated in your role. We advocate for work-life balance through a structured schedule, typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate our patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that delve into patients' unique histories, cultural contexts, and individual experiences to create tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, family counseling, and group therapy sessions, fostering resilience and well-being among patients.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care that addresses all facets of mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention services during emergencies, utilizing your strong crisis management skills to support patients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Actively participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and engage in ongoing cultural competency training.

• Continuously seek knowledge about current research, best practices, and cultural considerations that impact the therapeutic process.

You will play a crucial role in uplifting diverse populations, including ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants who may face unique mental health challenges. Your cultural responsiveness will be vital in facilitating an open dialogue and trust among patients, allowing for more effective therapeutic outcomes. By addressing social, cultural, and environmental factors affecting mental health, you'll contribute to enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, paired with expertise in evidence-based treatment approaches and a strong commitment to cultural competence in therapeutic practice.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy in an inclusive manner.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build meaningful rapport with a wide range of individuals.

• Proficiency in using EHR systems and other relevant software applications.

• A strong commitment to ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and maintaining patient confidentiality.

• Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role.

• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding their specific mental health needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
