Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings for clients, evaluating their substance abuse history and mental health status to inform treatment strategies.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address both addiction and any underlying psychological issues, using a client-centered approach.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to ensure cohesive care delivery.

• Provide education and guidance to clients’ families, enhancing their involvement in the recovery process and fostering a supportive home environment.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with substance use disorders and the mental health challenges that often accompany them. This role is geared towards clients from diverse backgrounds, many of whom may be facing significant barriers to recovery. You will provide empathetic, culturally competent care that respects each client's unique life experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Demonstrated knowledge and training in addiction counseling practices, including familiarity with state and federal regulations pertaining to substance abuse treatment.

• Excellent therapeutic and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate clients to engage in their recovery journey.

• Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate within a team and engage clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Hands-on experience with evidence-based therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Motivational Interviewing.

• Experience working in a community health clinic setting or with a focus on providing remote counseling services.

• Background in family therapy, crisis intervention, or group therapy facilitation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
