Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including but not limited to MBSR techniques, to assist clients in managing stress and enhancing their overall mental well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients’ unique life challenges, stressors, and aspirations, using this information to tailor effective mindfulness practices.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions wherein you guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and various breathing techniques to cultivate self-awareness and emotional stability.

• Organize and lead group workshops focused on mindfulness habits, stress management strategies, and resilience-building, fostering community support and shared growth.

• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals to integrate mindfulness practices into a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses clients’ varied needs.

• Accurately document client progress, including response to mindfulness interventions and adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.

• Engage regularly in your own mindfulness practice and professional development to continually enhance your proficiency in MBSR techniques and contribute to our collective expertise.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.

• A solid foundation in mindfulness practices, with a preference for candidates bringing extensive training in MBSR or similar methodologies.

• Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating an ability to create a calming and supportive atmosphere for clients seeking help.

Compensation and Benefits\n
