Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments by engaging clients in comprehensive discussions about their mental health concerns and histories to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Therapy tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Regularly collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists and psychologists—to provide cohesive, multi-faceted support for clients' needs.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development workshops to stay informed about the latest mental health treatment methodologies and ethical practices.

• Contribute valuable feedback towards the enhancement of counseling programs and processes, ensuring they align with current best practices.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in distress, developing immediate strategies to ensure their psychological safety and overall well-being.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic medical records systems to document all sessions and interactions.

• Engage in continuous self-evaluation and supervision to enhance personal performance and therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor, you will support a diverse patient population grappling with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflicts, and adjustment disorders. Your approach will honor the unique struggles of each individual, adapting your counseling methods to meet their evolving needs while emphasizing cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in your practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range between USD 78,000 and 115,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Counselors in this role are also eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend, and they can access the platform's services free of charge as active counselors, which fosters personal wellness and growth.
