Work Environment

This position will be based onsite at patients' homes, providing therapy in a comfortable and familiar setting. The role requires a flexible approach to scheduling in order to best meet patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively with other medical professionals and interdisciplinary team members to assess and understand patient histories and needs, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.
• Utilize your knowledge of medically complex diagnoses and relevant laboratory and radiology results to inform treatment decisions tailored to each patient's condition.
• Design and implement innovative patient treatment programs across a diverse caseload, including orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric populations, demonstrating expertise and adaptability.
• Manage clinical outcomes by tracking progress and addressing outlier cases in collaboration with fellow staff therapists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Optimize clinical workflows related to patient intake, referral processing, and scheduling to enhance operational efficiency and patient retention.
• Execute individualized therapy plans with an emphasis on early intervention and same-day evaluations, ensuring patients make timely progress in their rehabilitation journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on delivering care to a varied patient population within the home care environment. This includes individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions who require physical therapy services to regain mobility, improve function, and enhance their overall quality of life. You will be instrumental in guiding patients through personalized rehabilitation strategies that lead to meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to connect with patients and their families empathetically.
• Proven capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment, adapting to changing circumstances as needed.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, allowing you to develop effective treatment strategies based on individual patient assessments.

Compensation and Benefits

• This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and patient caseload.
