Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients through physical assessments, utilizing diagnostic tests to gauge muscle, nerve, and joint function.
• Develop personalized treatment plans aimed at reducing pain, preventing disability, and restoring functional abilities, while adhering to evidence-based practices.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, traction, and electrotherapy, alongside patient education on self-care and rehabilitation strategies.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercise regimens, both in manual and non-manual formats, to ensure they understand and can implement their care independently.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to assess and recommend adjustments to prosthetic and orthotic devices based on patient needs and progress.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records using electronic medical record systems, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients seeking orthopedic rehabilitation. You will work with individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their mobility and quality of life. This varied patient demographic allows for tailored treatment approaches, from post-operative recovery to comprehensive endurance training, ensuring that each individual receives the care specific to their needs.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate of Physical Therapy from a recognized and accredited institution.
• Current, valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic settings, demonstrating proficiency in assessment and treatment methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of movement science, rehabilitation techniques, and orthopedic pathologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for motivating clients through their rehabilitation journey.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems, aiding in effective documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient orthopedic therapy preferred, ideally with advanced skills in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary team collaboration, enhancing patient care through shared knowledge and diverse expertise.
• Prior involvement in community outreach or patient education initiatives is a distinct advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 120,000, alongside performance bonuses commensurate with contributions to patient care and organizational success. Additionally, full-time staff members are eligible for:
