Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify each patient's physical therapy needs and level of acuity related to their health conditions.
• Develop and implement detailed, individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices and patient goals.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Maintain clear and supportive communication with patients and their families, offering updates on progress, addressing challenges, and modifying home exercise programs as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a coordinated care approach that optimally supports the overall well-being of each patient.
• Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring data integrity for ongoing patient evaluations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will work with a diverse patient population experiencing a range of orthopedic issues, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and degenerative conditions. A primary focus will be on maximizing patient functionality and quality of life while ensuring they can safely navigate their daily environments.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid and current Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in physical therapy, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing empathetic, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
