Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity runs from late August to December, with a possibility of extension based on district needs. You’ll work primarily with children ages 3-5, providing essential educational and developmental support during a formative time in their early schooling journeys.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota teaching license with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement (dual certification required)
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in a special education setting
• Strong communication skills—able to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and specialists
• Ability to adapt to classroom needs and individual student learning styles
• Up-to-date on best practices in early childhood and special education

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support based on students’ IEPs
• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons for children ages 3-5
