Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to assist clients in addressing mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, using evidence-based therapies.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards while documenting client treatment records and progress notes.

• Guide clients in establishing and enhancing coping strategies while encouraging open dialogue about their feelings and life circumstances to foster personal insight and growth.

• Utilize various assessment tools, along with interviews and observations, to gather crucial information about clients’ mental health status and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
