Managing Director of Development

Leading the development efforts in a hybrid work environment, the full-time salaried Managing Director of Development will oversee fundraising, marketing, and communications strategies to ensure financial sustainability while managing a high-performing team to achieve annual fundraising goals. Key responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies, including major gifts, corporate partnerships, and grant writing Strengthen relationships with existing supporters and identify new funding opportunities Engage the Board of Directors in fundraising efforts and contribute to organizational strategy Required qualifications Proven experience in fundraising, particularly in a nonprofit environment Strong track record of securing multi-year investments and major gifts Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on collaboration and innovation
