Account Executive

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an Account Executive to drive revenue growth for oncology and special protein diagnostics products in the New York territory. This remote-based field sales role involves building customer relationships, executing strategic sales plans, and serving as a trusted advisor to laboratory and health system clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to increase test utilization and expand test menus across target organizations
- Grow market share by converting competitive business and managing new customer instrument demonstrations
- Lead contract renewals and customer business reviews to identify growth opportunities
- Serve as primary liaison between customers and internal commercial partners on implementations and go-lives
- Maintain accurate account and sales activity information in Salesforce and deliver business insights to strengthen relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline or equivalent education and work experience
- Minimum 3 years sales experience; laboratory, medical device, or diagnostics sales preferred
- Capital sales experience strongly preferred
- Technical aptitude to understand customer applications and laboratory workflows
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel 50–75% within territory
