Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, determining their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans with clients tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood disorders.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care and ensure comprehensive support for our clients.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance your clinical approach.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team-building activities to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients within the community, working to reduce the stigma associated with mood disorders and promote mental health resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with individuals who experience various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety-related disorders, and bipolar disorder. You will be integral in providing empathetic support and effective therapeutic interventions that empower clients to manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life. Our diverse clientele includes individuals from various backgrounds, making cultural competence and sensitivity key skills for success in this position.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
\n
• At least two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in treating mood disorders, is preferred.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, with a focus on CBT and DBT.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.

• Proven ability to achieve positive client outcomes in the management of mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills and the capability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a telehealth setting or familiarity with remote engagement tools is highly desirable.

• Prior experience in diverse clinical environments, including community health settings, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
