Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health to determine their therapeutic needs and establish accurate diagnoses.

• Facilitate regular individual and group therapy sessions, equipping clients with coping strategies, resources, and interpersonal skills to navigate challenges.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients, making referrals as necessary.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

• Continuously evaluate clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, providing ongoing encouragement and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse range of clients facing various challenges, including substance abuse issues, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and eating disorders. Our patient population reflects a wide array of cultural backgrounds and experiences, emphasizing the importance of culturally responsive and inclusive therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or an allied field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.

• Minimum of four years of professional experience in mental health counseling, particularly in providing therapy to a diverse client base.

• A strong understanding of various mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and a commitment to cultural competence in practice.

• Proven ability to effectively deliver both individual and group therapy, utilizing inclusive practices to create a safe space for all clients.

• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and capacity to maintain composure in high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
