As a Security Officer Security Clearance Perimeter Patrol in Mc Lean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $26.92 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Tue 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Wed 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Thur 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Fri 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control concerns or unusual conditions. Prepare accurate activity, incident, and shift reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree. Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
