Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Safe Horizon Counseling, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting one-on-one video sessions with clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance mental health and wellbeing.
• Encouraging open discussions about emotions, experiences, and mental health, empowering clients to gain self-awareness and insight.
• Serving as an advocate for clients, guiding them in identifying personal goals and objectives in their therapeutic journey.
• Assessing clients’ mental health conditions and formulating individualized treatment plans, employing a solution-focused approach based on your clinical expertise.
• Documenting client progress and adjustments to treatment plans in adherence to organizational standards and ethical practices.
• Participating in regular team meetings to share insights, best practices, and approach refinements based on collective experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population primarily consists of stable, low-acuity adults who are seeking support for a range of mental health issues. These may include anxiety, depression, stress management, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Qualifications

To qualify for this role, applicants must possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• An independent license in good standing, such as a:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Strong computer skills, comfortable with digital platforms for virtual counseling.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are considered advantageous:

• Experience in telehealth or remote counseling services, familiar with technology and online therapeutics.
• Previous work with diverse adult populations and an understanding of varying cultural contexts.
• Exposure to treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or mindfulness techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

Safe Horizon Counseling proudly offers a competitive salary range of USD $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Employees also receive:
