Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ experiences and tailor treatment plans accordingly.

• Develop personalized treatment strategies that engage clients in meaningful therapeutic practices.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy) to facilitate effective trauma processing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a collaborative space for patients to explore their feelings and develop coping strategies.

• Work in partnership with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to ensure a truly integrated approach to patient care.

• Respond to crisis situations with immediate intervention, providing critical support in moments of need.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance their support networks.

• Maintain meticulous documentation and record-keeping aligned with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of sensitive patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals affected by various trauma experiences, including those with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. You will work with diverse client backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and healing needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant post-licensure experience is preferred.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Experience utilizing trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and non-judgmental support.

• A calm demeanor in stressful situations, with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Competency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related digital tools.

• A collaborative mindset that values teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
