HR- Learning And Development Intern

Albany International Corp is a global advanced textiles and materials processing company. The company has two core businesses, The Machine Clothing segment is the world's leading producer of custom-designed fabrics and belts essential to production in the paper, nonwovens, and other process industries and Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) is a rapidly growing supplier of highly engineered composite parts for the aerospace industry.

As the HR- Learning and Development Intern, you will work closely with the Director of Talent Management to support the evaluation, development, and implementation of employee learning and development programs. Responsibilities

• Along with the responsibilities listed below, the L&D Intern will be responsible for a project to enhance Albany International's leadership development curriculum.
• Assist in Learning Program Development: Support the design and creation of training materials and presentations for internal training programs.
• Data Management & Reporting: Help maintain records of training activities, participant attendance, and feedback.
• Learning Resources: Assist in maintaining the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content is up to date and accessible to employees.
• Employee Feedback & Evaluation: Gather feedback from training participants and help analyze results to improve future training programs.
• Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in learning and development, suggesting new approaches for the company's programs.
• Team Player: Willingness to collaborate and support in additional tasks that arise within the HR team, depending on the company's needs and the intern's experience.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or a related field, with at least two years of coursework completed.
• Minimum GPA 3.0

Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral communications
• Strong interest in learning and development, training, and employee engagement.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute.
• Basic understanding of human resources principles and practices, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
