Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, crisis intervention, and follow-up assessments to ensure effective treatment planning for patients.

• Foster therapeutic relationships with clients through individual therapy, group sessions, and psychoeducational workshops tailored to the challenges faced by children, adolescents, and families.

• Determine the appropriate level of mental health care for patients by coordinating with other healthcare professionals and conducting thorough assessments.

• Collaborate with Reentry Social Workers to develop and implement discharge planning services that support patients transitioning from institutional to community settings.
\n
• Complete required statistical and clinical documentation for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
\n
• Engage in case conferences and participate in treatment planning discussions, contributing insights on patient care and areas for improvement.
\n
• Supervise social work interns or student volunteers as needed, providing guidance and mentorship in clinical practices.
\n
• Participate in mental health and medical rounds, ensuring that patient care is aligned with best practices and organizational policies.
\n
• Conduct psychological testing when appropriate, using evidence-based methods to inform treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on serving a diverse client population, particularly children, teenagers, and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care that emphasizes the strengths of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.

• Must hold an active, independent license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $52,000 to $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
