Work Environment

Working onsite in our modern facility, you will engage with patients in a warm and welcoming environment. Our practice promotes a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, enabling healthcare providers to share insights and approaches that best serve our patients. Your work schedule will be primarily Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional evening clinics extending until 8:00 p.m. Attendance at weekend community outreach events and health fairs will enhance your role and fulfill our commitment to community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and screenings, identifying individual and family health needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to diagnose and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions, ensuring a focus on preventive care.
• Develop and implement tailored health education programs in collaboration with community partners, addressing prevalent health concerns.
• Provide culturally competent care that respects the backgrounds and needs of diverse patient populations.
• Facilitate patient referrals and coordinate follow-up care to guarantee continuity and quality of health services.
• Maintain detailed medical records that comply with regulatory standards, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Stay informed of local health trends and adjust service offerings to meet these emerging needs effectively.
• Actively participate in community events and health fairs, providing health education, screenings, and fostering community relationships.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will be at the forefront, providing them with tailored, holistic healthcare tailored to improve their overall health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a must.
• An active nursing license in the state of Maryland.
• A Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Strong clinical foundation with a minimum of 3-5 years related experience, ideally within community health or public health contexts.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with patients from varied cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in concierge medicine or house call practice is a distinct advantage.
• Demonstrated commitment to social justice and advocacy for health equity.
• Prior involvement in community health initiatives or programs that enhance healthcare access.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 to $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
