Mailroom Clerk/Lockbox Machine Operator
Schedule:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; Hours vary between 8:00AM - 4:30PM.
Pay: $19/hr
Temp to perm

Position Summary:
Responsible for operating extraction, scanning and mail sorting equipment within the Lockbox. Role
ensures accurate, timely handling of incoming mail and payments. Other duties may be assigned.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate and maintain mail sort, extraction and scanning equipment. OPEX 150/IEM, OPEX
  Falcon, OPEX MPS 40
• Receive, sort and prepare incoming mail for processing in accordance with established procedures
• Monitor machine performance identifying jams, misfeeds or equipment issues, resolving or
  escalating as required
• Ensure all work is completed within established production deadlines
• Perform basic quality checks to verify accuracy
• Follow all compliance, audit and operational procedures
• Support general mailroom functions as required
• Ability to lift/carry 10-15 lbs as needed (trays of mail)
• Promotes a culture of collaboration and engagement
• Meet established performance metrics for productivity and quality
  

Skills :

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to operate machinery in a fast paced production environment
• Basic troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to follow detailed procedures
• Team oriented
• High school diploma
• 1-3 years of Lockbox, Mailroom or production environment preferred but not required
• OPEX Falcon, OPEX 150/IEM, OPEX 40 or similar mail, extraction, scanning equipment preferred
