Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students with major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders, determining appropriate intervention plans tailored to their unique needs.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy that focuses on specific emotional issues identified during assessments, ensuring therapeutic practices align with industry standards.

• Collaborate with educational staff to design and implement integrated care plans that facilitate access to necessary services, promoting student engagement and success.

• Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings for mental health concerns, arranging for more detailed assessments when warranted.

You will primarily work with a diverse student population, including those from underprivileged backgrounds facing vulnerabilities and mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

Prospective candidates must possess a valid LCSW license in the state of California and have a minimum of two years of experience providing mental health services in clinical or school settings. A Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.

While the minimum experience is two years, candidates with experience working directly in a school environment, with children and adolescents, or with underserved populations will be prioritized. The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
