Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct therapeutic sessions with clients experiencing mental illnesses and emotional disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to their unique needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate feedback from clients, families, and educational staff.

• Provide crisis intervention support as necessary, ensuring immediate and appropriate responses to distressing situations.

• Maintain ongoing communication with schools to monitor students' progress, adjust treatment plans, and support educational goals.

• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client cases and collaboratively develop strategies for effective treatment.

• Document all client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes while adhering to ethical standards and organizational guidelines.

• Assist with safety protocol implementations, identifying any potential risks, and providing solutions to improve the overall safety of our therapeutic environment.

• Take on on-call responsibilities during assigned periods to provide support after regular office hours.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position predominantly serves children and adolescents referred from schools, who face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and other mental health disorders. Your approach must be sensitive, adaptable, and culturally competent, addressing the diverse backgrounds and needs of your clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing direct clinical services in a mental health or school setting.

• Strong understanding of applicable ethical guidelines and the legal aspects of clinical social work.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating effective collaboration with clients, families, and colleagues.
