Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial evaluations of students to assess their mental health needs, strengths, and potential barriers to success.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Therapy, tailored to the unique needs of our student population.

• Collaborate with educational staff and other mental health professionals to develop, implement, and monitor student-centered treatment plans that align with academic and personal goals.

• Lead group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups, focusing on skill-building and emotional regulation.

• Perform crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning for students in distress, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.

• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of all client interactions in line with ethical and legal standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage with families and caregivers to provide support and resources, empowering them to participate actively in their child’s therapeutic journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves students ranging from elementary through high school who face various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. You will work closely with families, educators, and other community resources to ensure a holistic approach to each student's mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of California.
\n
• A strong understanding of child and adolescent development, along with family dynamics.

• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and their application in a clinical setting.

• Exceptional communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills, allowing you to connect with students and families effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
